There’s something honest about photographing dogs, or Dog Photography as they say in the trade. No pretense. No performance. Just presence.

This collection is a visual journal built over years — moments of companionship, personality, and quiet connection captured through my lens. At the heart of it are Beaumont and Diego (2008-2020), my two Havanese and daily reminders of how much joy can live in such small, spirited souls. Anyone who knows the breed understands — affectionate, intelligent, endlessly expressive. They’re not just pets; they’re family, sidekicks, and often the most patient subjects I’ve ever worked with. Not to mention the most masculine dogs on the planet! ;)’

But this dog photo gallery reaches beyond my own home.

You’ll find familiar faces from years past — beloved family dogs whose images have grown more meaningful with time. Photographs that, back then, felt casual… and now feel priceless. They represent chapters, households, and memories that deserve to live on.

A meaningful portion of this work also comes from time spent volunteering alongside Mike Johnson, of Furtography Kingston. Mike is not only a professional pet photographer but someone deeply committed to celebrating the bond between people and their animals. Working with him offered opportunities to photograph dogs of every age, temperament, and story — from playful pups to wise seniors. Each session reinforced the same lesson: every dog carries a distinct spirit worth preserving.

Stylistically, these images lean natural and sincere. I aim to capture dogs as they are — curious glances, resting eyes, mid-run energy, or that unmistakable look of loyalty they give their humans.

Because in the end, this page isn’t just about dogs.

It’s about companionship… loyalty… and the quiet, everyday love that asks for nothing — yet gives everything.
